Journey into the unknown
Have you ever tried desperately to grasp on to something that was never truly yours to begin with?
I don't know about you, but I am guilty of all charges. Regardless of my intentions I always return back to trying to hold strong to things I hold no authority over.
Don't get me wrong, I am not proclaiming my kleptomaniac ways here. I mean
this more in the metaphorical sense rather than the figurative.
I realized, within a eureka moment as i sat in a room filled with possessions I hardly care for.
That I will attempt to let go.
Releasing myself like a snowflake falling from a pewter sky.
Whose direction is guided by the way of the wind.

REAL TALK.
REAL TALK.
Today I decided to begin something I have thought about called
REAL TALK. I often enjoy getting lost in various spaces. Which often leads me to chatting it up with complete strangers. I enjoy the idea of sharing a intimate moment through the power of conversation with someone you might never see again. Perhaps we can call it a conversational one night stand? Regardless of what it's called I have collected many of these moments in mind. I often enjoy cab drivers for this mostly due to the fact that they resemble cats by having lived so many lives.
I perused through an old journal (May 2007 to be exact). I found a submission I had put
from one day when I was waiting at the bus.
"A woman came up to me last night, she asked me if Jesus was in my life. I was used to hearing this question from religious fanatics. Being a self-proclaimed agnostic I was already equipped with a polite response to her question and to also to end the possibility of being sucked into her ranting. As I was about to respond with my stock response I looked into the woman's eyes, I know it is a bit corny but it's true. When I looked into her eyes I began to realize her devotion. I began to think of some questions I could ask her to entertain my curiosity. After our nice little convo, I hopped on the bus and made my way halfway across the city to hang out at a friend of a friends house. She gave me some food for thought.
Question 1: How did you experience religion? Were you always religious?
At the age of 41 she realized that she had been lacking a lot in her personal life, a religious spirit and a healthy relationship were just two things to start with. She shared her then boyfriend with his wife. He always promised her that one day he would leave her but he never did. One night, like so many before she was out on the prowl seeking revenge to get back at her cheating boyfriend. On the way to the bar she ran into a woman who was doing exactly what she was doing with me; spreading the gift of God. The woman's words found a place deep inside her where even she forgot existed. Rather than going to the bar that night and cheat on her boyfriend she made the decision of going to church with this complete stranger.
Twenty six years have past and her faith has grown stronger. Through the years
she was able to repent for her sins and helps those who are lost like she once was.
Question 2:Do you believe that science can replace religion?
Look at a light post, even though the technology is enticing, nothing can beat the beauties created by God. Look at the stars, they cease to reaffirm my faith, they are too beautiful to just exist. They are matter which means they have been created by a supreme being.
-------------
I was chatting it up with one of the kids I work with. We were talking about reality television emulating life. One of the other kids asked what would the equivalent of a commercial be in real life. He responded the moments in life when you have nothing to do. So before you return to the main programming allow me to entertain you during the commercial break with one more piece from one of my old journals (Jan 4th 2008 to be exact)Untitled
I want to love but don't want to hurt.
I want to laugh and never have to cry.
I want it all but truly lack the patience.
I want the stars in the sky with
a slice of pie.
I know what I want
and have yet to realize
exactly what I need.

the future.threats.art attack.
I got to experience the future today.
It was glorious and tactile.
It manifested itself within the form
of Microsofts new Xbox 360, the kinect.
As someone who is not too into videogames,
they have appeared to make many cameos within
the grande scheme of my being.
So,there I was on a Thursday afternoon
accompanying my friend to pick up her
newest technological cadeaux.
After some errrands we arrived back at her
house as curiousity and impatience rushed through our blood.
After a few distractions (youtube, cat talk, downloading etc)
we finally got the chance to step into the future, brought to you by Xbox.
Again I am often a skeptic with videogames but after working as a "videogame analyst"
my retired interests were awoken.
We attempted to play a simple rafting game. I could not help but feel the cardiovascular
work out just from sliding across a wooden floor and dirtying my socks.
Regardless, the competitor within was ready for a challenge.
I began contemplating all the necessary excuses to get one.
like "Well if they have fitness games it would be just like getting a gym membership."
I had to crawl away from all the marvelous that are the future and head back into
a November night to catch the bus. Art attack observation awaited.
On my way I got to experience some Real Talk in the flesh.
I was standing on the street waiting in a line behind 2 other dudes for my bus to arrive. I was
completely lost in my own world, listening to the "Get Innocuous!" by
LCD Soundsystem and you know just minding my own.
This man who I shall describe as being round 35 to 40years old
rolls up in his bicycle. He was clad in a generic winter jacket, cargo pants
and a used bicycle. He rolls up to the light and stops in his two wheeled self power vehicle.
He begins to stare straight into the eyes of the guy standing beside me.
I pay little attention until he began to mutter
"what you didn't think I couldn't find you? You owe me money!"
The man beside me in line instantly responds
"I don't owe you anything"
Perhaps he was insulted?Or just felt the need to spit the raw truth. Cargo pants man begins to spew:
"What you think you can smoke my crack and cigarettes and not have to pay?
You owe me money and I have come to collect!
I want my money by December 2nd or I'm going to break both of you arms"
Please keep in mind the more he spoke the more his temperament would rise . He then proceeded by providing us with an slightly evil head shake and then he proceeded to bike off.
It might be because I often find humor in the slightest things but I could not help to contain my laughter on this one. A poor innocent girl walked in on this happening to join the happening bus que and was left in shambles as she attempted to glue together the slight bits of information she saw and heard.
It's funny because there I was believing that my wait and ride would not be entertaining. I must admit though I made sure to sit behind the man who had just received his little threat. He smelt like cigarettes that had been put out and re-lit and bore a hideous cough all the while caching his fact from within a cap.

I continued to meet another one of my awesomely fantastic friends for some
art attack observation. The location was the National Art Gallery.
My memory lacks the file indicating the last time I visited the beautiful
glass cage. However I am certain it was quite sometime ago.
If I were to be an art critic, I would naturally describe both exhibits as being quite awesome.
We began with some Canadian talent. The works reminded me of the modest Canadian talent that is rampant throughout this nation.
For example; Carl Beam.
His work reminded me of an intense and passionate journal that explored the victim and the perpetrator paradigm. I forgot about the beauteous results of photo-emulsion.
for example;
It was defiantly a trip to see the original ads promoting the domestic sales of his houses. I enjoyed his modest perspective towards urban planning. By attempting to encourage the benefits of suburban living within a city space. Plus he's a man of geometry which also makes him a man of my heart.
all retold from the accounts of victims. The halls lead you to this vast expanse that looks over Jerusalem. To me it seemed to represent the expansive future that awaits.
Oh PS: Louise Bourgeois holds it down for being a 98 artist who kept on making phenomenal pieces even till she was taken from the earth.

They're here to steal your kids.
My friends passed me a link today. Allowing me to take a break from studying
furniture design.
I was first unsure of how serious this forum was but the more I read the more I
was assured that no one could possibly make this up without actually believing
in what they were writing.
I don't know if you all are aware.
But apparently, Justin Bieber is the henchman
for the homosexual agenda. Bringing the young children
in your life towards the world of sodomy and
other unjustified acts.
I never truly cared for him or the little subculture that he has created
(bieben for one).
After reading this little account of someone's true fears (I doubt that someone is funny enough to imagine writing this) I can't help to feel sorry for the ignorance that exists out there.
I will now grace your imagination with my favorite quotes.
The blogger; Ladies of Landover Senior VP
One of the Truest Christians™ Ever
recounts what she did with her young unsaved trash niece after discovering Justin Bieber on her Ipod.
You would look at his last name and as a normal person, you would pronounce it as "Bye-ber". No, his name is pronounced "Bee-ber". Beeber. Sounds very, VERY close - too close to be coincidence - to "Beaver". The national symbol of Soviet Canuckistan and even more damning, a slang term for a certain piece of the female anatomy that should only ever be seen by a woman, her husband, and Jesus!
Oh and the icing on the cake came from a forum responses made by Rev. Jim Osborne.

Perhaps its my partisanship towards the good old Attic of America but I found this response to be just bloody hilarious. So much so that this whole thing reminded me of a South Park episode.
Someone asked "What is wrong with Canada"
Oh Pop culture. It seems the yarn of pop culture and things that are truly
important have become so intertwined that we are incapable of distinguishing the two.
It feels as if I have recently awoken from a coma where everything has been turned upside down.
Now remember kids when you are drinking from your jugs of milk or even your bagged milk to take a serving of consciousness. This will help prevents such diseases as ignorance and hatred..

Locking her in the guest prayer closet, I powered up the computer, called my husband - Mr. Whitford - to explain the situation so he could remotely log into JesOS and unlock the search engine. That's right. Justin Bieber is from SOVIET CANUCKISTAN! America's attic - Canada! The frozen tundra that has legalized sodomite "marriage" and is full of nothing but marihuana cigarette smoking blubber munchers! That icy wasteland has become what we've long feared it would - a staging area for a sodomite terrorist invasion with the intent of destroying the most basic foundation of our nation. The American family.
Justin Bieber is no ordinary rock and roller bent on raging against God. No, he is nothing less than a tool of the homosexual agenda whose sole purpose is to drive our young girls from a righteous existence as help meets for their future husbands and convert them into radical feminazi bulldykes.

Rev Osborne:
And what is wrong with Canada? Liberals, hippies, euthanasia, legalized drugs, gay marriage, French people, ice skating, socialized medicine, socialism, bilingualism, bagged milk, eskimoes, etc....did you really need to ask such a question?

the truth hurts when all you have is time.
Just another day ticking past, as the world continues to turn.
i constantly ask and rarely receive, but it seems as if the tide
has begun to change providing me with a morsel of hope.
I bid farewell to my pessimistic ways, for they no longer
hold the ability to weigh me down like a diving bell in a vast
ocean of uncertainty.
i stop myself often forcing myself into this thing
they call reality, rather than running away into another space
i lay there naked, with little to no shame.
i am here,
hear me roar.
7billion versus 1.
who will win.
or was it never a
competition to begin with?

Making the world a better place.
I just finished watching a little documentary about Dolce and Gabbana.
Gabbana to the left, Dolce to the right. It's very convenient that his last name means beautiful n'est pas?
These two Italian men have created delicious designs for over 20 plus years. I have more interest towards their philanthropic male design. In my eyes these gentlemen are making the world a better place one fitted suit at a time.

Please view said specimen number one;
These delicitable species are my very personal lochness monsters. A mystery that I have heard soo much about it and have yet to see with my own eyes.
Soon Come.
I am not the biggest fan of his pants though. But thats easily changeable....
Dress them up to dress them down.
Despite of their beautiful presence being devoid within my current existence. I still have hold faith that perhaps as I roam through the lively streets of Milan I will serendipitously run into a beautiful Dolce & Gabbana worthy piece of man.
Purrrmeow?

On to the next .
I was flipping through my tele and the hopeless romantic within me was lured by the 2001 film Serendipity. I often make fun of my sister for her passion for romantic comedies but I could not resist this little d'object d'art.
The tagline; Destiny....with a sense of humor.
I beg to differ on that one, If it did have a little sense of humor I think it would not have let them meet because well them meeting up and living happily ever after in the end lacks any sense of humor.
Even through it's points of being whack, I was def. into it and it was an enjoyable way to pass the night.
My interest was stemmed from a book I had read by Carl Jung. Where he attempts to use his know how to explain synchronicity.
Jung described synchronicity; an apparently meaningful coincidence in time of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated
I love to believe in the abilities of the world, and this movie fed to my beliefs that there is a delightful greater order to the world we live within.

The truth is, that the truth is all there is.
My mind has recently chosen to travel within the levels of the absurd. The baggage has been checked and it awaits its eminent travel, within a grand enlightened waiting room.
The clock ticks and off we go, discovering the things that are deemed irrational by anyone
who believes to be a skeptic. It's amazing what you can learn with a little touch of self-interest
powered by the force that is "google". Answers come flooding in like a torrential downpour of knowledge. Leaving those unprepared wet and cold from their experiences. The fuel that feeds this mission is the words and experiences of those who once called this earth their residence. Where they are now, is unclear to both you and I. Edgar Cayce, Carl Jung are two to name a few. Although they are two seperate men it seems as if the mission was unconsciously similar. They attempted to dig within the human physche like two archelogists attempting to find the remains of a lost civilization. Their tools were their abilities to see past the constraints of third dimensional society that shelters us from above.
I was introduced to an interesting experience shared by Ted Serios, who at the time was a modest bellhop from Chicago. With the power of belief and hope Dr. Jules Eisenbud helped illuminate this man abilities of creating thoughtography. Serios claimed to hold the ability of making photographs appear with the mere action of using his thoughts to actualize a print. Mr.Serios became the cat's meow of the scientific community as they attempted to prove and dispel his psychic abilities. It is interesting to read articles that review Mr.Serios abilites. I even find the ones that dispels his abilities to be more interesting. One is written by a photographer who also had a background with magicians. His skeptical radar was on a high allowing him to breakdown all that he witnessed from his experience with Serios demonstrations.
Regardless of the hoax created by Serios. I do quite enjoy the sheer idea of the word thoughtography.

Now on to a man who is valorized from his Nastradomus like skills. Ladies and gentleman please meet "Edgar Cayce".
Who was born in 1877 and raised in the rough and tough pastoral lands of America. Cayce held the ability to place himself within a self-induced slumber and channel what is called the Akashic Records. The Akashic Records are believed to be a grand database of every experience, thought and idea that was ever thought and that will ever be thought. By accessing this level of consciousness Cayce was able to access answers to the questions asked by his patients.

Cayce's case is very intriguing based on the fact they have an astonshing 14,000 records of his readings that are also accompanied by follow ups made by his patients confirming how close his readings were to reality. While Cayce was in Kentucky, he gave a reading for a man in New York (740-1). He saw the man smoking a cigar, heard him whistling a particular song, saw him meet with another man about a piece of property, and saw him look over three letters. Finally, the sleeping Cayce heard the man telephone another gentleman and knew the gentleman's name. All of these events were later verified. Cayce was able to see with this extra sense everything the man in New York had experienced firsthand with his normal senses.

Things we learnt by the fire.
Bathhouse etiquette
I must admit that I have been enjoying myself quite a bit this past summer. It often resembled an unsupervised camp where my friends and I frolicked around with little intention of being responsible. Jobs were had and lost but laughter was always maintained. I at times would go to bed thinking that my 15 year old self would be somewhat proud of what I manifested into. Although at times the overcritical side of me crept up from nowhere asking myself : Really is this what you consider as being a fully functional individual? I allow that little patter to subside and I am off on my merry way, devoid of any infringing self-criticism.
I saw Cats on Friday (meow). It was an interesting set up. However I do wish they had subtitles. I often confuse my meow's with my purrs and it gets all confusing.
I must admit though, I try to understand a lot of things but this little musical got me a tad confused. I did like this line though
"allegorical cats, metaphorical cats, romantical cats, and pedantical cats"
Last night was a splendid Saturday. I have become devoid of remembering the days of the week, perhaps its due to my lady of leisure title? I strolled down to my homie Jackr's house where we discussed various things that some would consider insane. We often egg each other on with discussing wild and different topics. I then made my way home through the tried and tested MOntreal subway, I stared at people and also tried to conjure up some positive energy along my way home. We planned a delicious and fesitivous dinner for Iftar ( iftar is the moment you get to break your fast.) The BBQ was off the chain and included;

- and prob. more
It was my homegirl Nix's bday so fun was to be had. Alina and I hopped on our two wheeled chariots and headed into the night. We first met up with Tinashe to give him his wallet that was left on my couch. We all three strolled through the streets bikes in hand. Tinashe is one who enjoys to walk bikes but not ride them.
The night unraveled as if we were ferioucious kittens playing with an oversized ball of yarn. I rediscovered how I enjoy the good old game of flriting. Its best when you expect nothing in return, no rings included in this game.
So, I learnt and also refreshed my memory with a few things that I would LOVE to share with you kids.
For one, I am somewhat curious of the liberties placed upon female seahorses. They hold the reigns of impregnating the males. My curiosities lie in the liberties of their lifestyle. I wonder if they are burdened by "why he did not call" or perhaps they take a more lackadasical approach and are just like "whatever man there are more horses in this sea"...?
Regardless of their point of view. I just love how nature just always keeps us on our toes.
I also did some research on the existence of sinkholes. I never thought about it but what about ocean sinkholes? I like to imagine the life that exists within the depths.
Ooh nature, you got me again.
until next time.

And all i do is dream.
It is highly necessary that you play this song as you read this insert of babble.
If not your lovely computer will spontaneously combust.
True say.
You daily history lesson;
I am currently listening to the ever so good and ever so infectious song by Suzanne Vega "Tom's diner". I was overcome by the sole interest of schooling those in need.
Quick:
If Adidas was to battle Puma who would win?
A little know fact that I acquired from the gold lined streets is that Adidas and Puma are actually siblings, reared from the same victorious Goddess. True say, Adidas co-founder Adolf Dassler "Adi"

and Puma's co-founder Rudolf Dassler

happen to be two peas from the same pod. It all began
when the two bros began making shoes in the mothers basement in Germany.
Adolf crafted his idea for the ideal running shoe from the simple and light household slipper. Way led to way and Mr.Jesse Owens acquired a pair of shoes for his victorious run in the 1936 Olympics in Germany.

After Mr.James his win, the brand took a run towards success (pun included.)
During the war the brothers were split, Rudolf left to serve for the Germans while Adolf stayed home to tend to the family business. Both brothers were led into the hands of the American army, one for the better the other for the worst. Mr. Rudolf ended up becoming a prisoner of war for the Americans. After the occupation of the family factory Adolf began to change his once Nazi inspired way of sight. Adolf's progression towards rational ideals is said to have led to the feud that spawn Adidas and Puma. Adolf's views began to alter the brotherly love and leading to them to never speaking or uttering the others name. From there they split the family company as neither of the two could use the family name they decided to create Adidas and Puma.
Mind uploading;
just might be the biggest and most important file you'll ever upload.

That is only if you feel that your body and corporeal experiences are weighing you down. Overwhelmed by walking, sleeping and breathing? Well like always science has found a solution that was really never a problem.
Mind uploading is a hypothetical process that is hoped to one day become a reality. The intentions of the process is that you would be able to map your brain and copy it onto a computer system. The simulacrum of your brain allows you to technically live forever as long as your computer does not crash. The "brain" will then be connected to a robotic device where it would be able to control a physical body.
---------
I discovered this article when I was reading another that discussed the idea of "Digital minimalism" which is about individuals who have replaced all their tangible possessions by copying all the information on to their computer and various hard drives. They gave an example of one fellow from D.C. who reduced himself from all material objects and solely lived day to day off of his laptop, musical keyboard, bicycle and various external hard drives that collected his musical collection. The article quoted the total of his possessions to fall within $3000. All of these possessions deny himself of satiating hierarchy of Maslow inspired needs. He chooses to coast from friend to friends couch as he floats within virtual space.
Isn't one of the main tenants of economics supply & demand?
Well, gentleman and gentleladies like the said example show that their is and will be a demand for mind uploading. Perhaps in the near future?
O the times they ain't changing;
If not your lovely computer will spontaneously combust.

just might be the biggest and most important file you'll ever upload.

O the times they ain't changing;
I was just yelled at and repeatedly called a "stupid nigger" by a women driving a silver "fresh off the boat" mercedes benz. She donned a silk scarf draped across her faces which was held down by her Canel Street Chanel shades. It's funny how people throw out a word with the sole intention of hurting me and it truely meaning nothing to me. HIstory has dried up any resentment or associations that I hold to that word. While her choosen vernacular only places the spotlight
on her ignorance.
And, so it goes when you wear your race on your sleeve.
I must admit that I myself provided the slight provocation of taking a photograph of her soulless frame. Regardless of my interest in her look, her response was oh so "deja-fait".
This all occoured on my way back from Montreal's annual Underpressure festival. I snapped photographs and somehow someway snagged myself a press pass.

Juste pour les enfants.
Oi weee! I feel like i been have sprinkled by a scrumptious zest of life.
Leaving me to feel refreshingly clean, as if i made out
with a bar of soap.
I have accomplished the hefty task of crossing over to the
early risers crowd. I punched out of dream land as the sun begun to light up the sky.
It's 11:02am and soo much has been done i can't imagine what's to come.
A Library trip is defiantly on my to-do list and the rest is unwinding mystery.
My ears are currently keeping the company to what I believe to be
a Portuguese cover of "Paint it black by the Rolling Stones.".
The mix has been been provided my Mr.Pentz, aka Diplo to the virtual kids.
anyways, homeboy yet again throws it down with this mix.
"I'm soo bad ass my hands defy gravity" look.
enjoy les enfants;

does everyone really love Marineland?
And so, she withered
back to feed us
back to feed us
------------------------
I like to eat pasta with bananas? is that so wrong?
Don't even get me started on my love affair with lasagna and bananas.
Bananas are the most complementary gastronomic accessory known to man.
However if a war was to be had between mango and bananas, I would be quick
to show my support for mangos. Lets be honest mango never sold out to make
nasty prescription medicine with a horrid artificial taste to cure my everlasting
ear infections.
Mango***:1 Banana : 0
***somali's do not eat mango's with their pasta neither with their lasagna.
---------------------------------
I have preoccupied myself with doing little and disguising it as something, just to pass the time.
I awoke from the oversized sleigh bed that lives in my parents house, to play on my sisters day old macbook pro to work on my website.
I must admit that I was a bit frightened that I would be placing a call to her warning her that beloved new baby was forced to succumb to the destructive ways of my clumsy hands.
I do feel part of the "cool" when someone asks me what i'm doing and i provide them with the blase response of "ooh you know, just working on my site".
I often loose my patience when I have to upload things onto this site from my external hard drive because it reminds me of my incompetence of organizing my files properly.
but i digress.
---------------------------------
I'm in ottawa, a place that holds the ability of being a small town and also the nations capital all at once. My first day was spent haunting the emptiness of my parents abode. The internet entertained my mind making me not feel too alone.
I have begun to read "Lullibies for little criminals" on my way to Ottawa. I took breaks from the book to admire the sublime clouds that played over my head.
I quite like it for various reasons. One being that there is no judgements or guilt placed upon Baby's life. It is what it is. Also, she takes me down and through the streets of Montreal, mostly focusing on St.laurent and St.Catherine.
Providing my mind with a much needed reminder of the first city I called home or something like it. If your into reading and that kind of stuff give it a gander.
(this was my attempt at being on Reading Rainbow)
My birthday is slowly approaching, I can hear the clock ticking within my periphery senses. I hold ambiguous emotions, since I began to disassociate myself from the excitement of getting presents and birthday cakes. My mother would often remind me that I no longer hold any right to request gifts since she gave me life, and that a lollipop could suffice as her grand gesture to my celebration. Last year was ideal, I spent the day at my favourite beach until the sand got so hot we had to leave. I then had ice cream and took a nap. Since I was abroad I lacked any friends to go out with but I was lucky to receive e-mails and messages from people who I cared about which is always pleasant.
This year however, I have no idea of where and what I will be doing to celebrate the day I entered this world. My friend Dave offered to make me a home cooked meal which I am sure will be delicious and accompanied by one or two bottles of fermented grapes...no biggie. I look forward to hearing his crude and hilarious remarks to life.
I have become overwhelmed by the sensation of wanting to paint and draw on an oversized objects. I shall be making my way over to the art supply store where a high school friend would made his kleptomaniac stash spot, and often providing me with hand me downs of fancy paint markers.
Oh the days.
-----------------------------------------------
this happens to be my inspiration for today..
A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.
Paul Cezanne
Paul Cezanne
I shall throw those words onto my canvas and allow them to inspire the lines that come out of my hands as if I were a lady spider weaving my home of security.
-------------------------------
I think thats enough ramblings for today.
I'm not too sure if anyone reads this besides myself
but nonetheless, I do it for the fat lady who sits on her porch
listening to the radio as she chain smokes her fears away.
-------------------------------------------
Jeopardy is almost on, and you know
how Alex gets when I miss him on the tele.
Even though he renounced his Canadian citizenship he's still bad ass with that matching salt and pepper mustache and chest hair combo.
PurrrrMeow.
Ciao.

dream a little dream for me.
Twas a one night only tour of debauchery
as we ran through the streets
devoid of any concept of time.
just me and the boys
transforming the world
into our personal playground.
-------------------------------
I ran around in circles
hoping to find you
or anything that
resembled you.
I held your mask close
to hide the reality
that we were never anything
but just a mere figment of my hopes.
-------------------------------
I have succumb to following
the idea that THIS,
the miserable dots of experience
will lead to a grand concise future.
-------------------------------
Disenchantment was her flavour of choice.
Successfully dislocating herself from what others deemed to be reality.
Her tears were clear, to magnifying her dislocated disposition.
Careless to all that surrounded her, she continued to delve,
deeper within the confines of her glass veneer.
Hoping and wishing that no one would see past her false case of serenity.

do it for the ......
Saturday afternoon ambitions.
And when she closed her eyesshe couldnt help to finda little place she calledher wonderland. And in this place she founda land built on dreamsand aspirations, unable to fadewith the tide. And so she roamed downa path that was to lead her home, unable to realize the hands of fate. And she awoke to a dewy sunrisewith a rising heatuntouchable to the raysof her future.I have procrastinated all attempts of leaving my house and discovering what a city afternoon has to offer a fun and crazy gal like me. Instead I have abused caffeine as it satiates my dietary needs, according to my amateur dietician diagnosis. However, I have been productive in other realms such as working on my constant under-construction website. I have finally taken the leap off the procrastination plank. On another note, Fidel Castro came out of the wood work, breaking the hearts of many by dispelling any conspiracy theories. I too began to question what He was stirring up on the communist inspired island of Cuba. His return back to the political stage brings a refreshing insight against the constant looming power of the red, white and stripes.
Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Friday warned the nation's diplomats of the possibility of a nuclear war. It was his fifth public appearance in 10 days.
Castro visited the Foreign Ministry in Havana and predicted that a nuclear war was at hand if the United States and Israel continue to push for sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programs.
He also predicted that the United States would attack North Korea.Castro disappeared from public view following emergency intestinal surgery in July 2006 and ceded power to his younger brother, now President Raul Castro.Castro's other recent appearances include a meeting with workers at a science think tank and taking in a dolphin show at the national aquarium.

Rise in African children accused of witchcraft
An increasing number of children are being accused of witchcraft in parts of Africa, the UN children's agency says.Orphans, street children, albinos and the disabled are most at risk. The belief that a child could be a witch is a relatively modern development, researchers say.The agency says the rise in vulnerable children being abused in this way is linked to greater urbanisation in the continent and disruption caused by war. The growing economic burden of raising children is also thought to be a factor.
Most of those accused of witchcraft are boys aged between eight to 14 - who often end up being attacked, tortured and sometimes killed.
It is reported that some evangelical preachers have added to the problem by charging large sums for exorcisms. One was recently arrested in Nigeria after charging more than $250 for each procedure.
Unicef's Regional Child Protection officer for West and Central Africa told the BBC more than 20,000 streetchildren had been accused of witchcraft in the DR Congo capital Kinshasa.

the nature of things not with david suzuki
The sun is shining and the weather is sweet.
I have been able to master the ability of
doing something and nothing within one
steady movement.
The former balancing out the latter.
The sun is shining and the weather is sweet.
Like always, I enjoy checking out what the electronic newsstands have to offer my mind. Tickling my curiousity with current events, that will be forgotten after the following headline. One thing I found was that science has now proved something we probably have all once or twice questioned. I have been able to master the ability of
doing something and nothing within one
steady movement.
The former balancing out the latter.
The sun is shining and the weather is sweet.
Creative minds 'mimic schizophrenia'
Creativity is akin to insanity, say scientists who have been studying how the mind works.
It appears that both groups lack the important receptors to filter their realities. The lack their of, allows one to view what surrounds them through refreshed and uninhibited eyes. One sentence cools all artistic angst;
"Creativity is uncomfortable. It is their dissatisfaction with the present that drives them on to make changes."
However, lets not jump up in down in glee so quickly there seems to be a downside to all of this artistic glory. Apparently, the grande package of creativitiy comes with the inconveniences of the good old blues, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Lest we not forget, the side effects, of feeling as if noone truely understands you and that sweet emotion of superiority over all that surrounds you. I felt the need to look at a list to see the truth in their studies.

List of the artistically insane

- Pablo Picasso: (Schizophrenia)
- Jackson Pollock:(Bipolar disorder)
- Claude Monet: (Clinical Depression)
- Vincent Van Gogh:(Bipolar disorder)
As I was telling my friend about this we were led to towards the tangent of thought where I brought up that even Walt Disney held some factors of insanity. His desire to be cryogenically frozen can be one of them. I am a bit unsure if this is a urban legend. Regardless of its truths I will continue to believe that Disney was on that cryogenical tip. Like Mel Gibson, Jamie Lee Curtis and Elijah Wood in Forever Young. Where apparently; Time waits for no man but true love waits forever. Im sure tay-Z felt inspired by this lovely classic. My youngin self was defiantely into this one mustering out little bouts of compassion to mel gibsons icey blue eyes.

I must finish this off with giving a R.I.P shout out to another who crossed the line to the otherworld. Im sure all the animal conservationist out there have heard through the grapevine of the passing of the Alaotra Grebe. The Alaotra grebe (Tachybaptus rufolavatus) was a medium-sized bird who was always nice to his neighbours that inhabited Lake Alaotra and surrounding areas in Madagascar. The Alaotra Grebe was once thought to have thrown in the towel to become a complete a social recluse. Last time it was spotted on the mean waterways of Madgascar was at the epic wedding of Tina&Leos in 1985. The high amount of haters unaware of the consequences to their actions can be blamed for the extinction of the once sedentary bird.

EPICTETUS
EPICTETUS:
Music:Billie Holiday: God bless the child
such beauty awaits you
within a balance of fragility,
from the impossibility of the ideal.
With or without,
the rays of splendor will come to reveal
itself at times least supposed.
My stay here has become prolonged and I have begun my ¨all day everyday¨ one month left sentimental state. Its silly how tardy I have been to realize my current situation. I am suprised by my naivity of believing that I was ret to go in supposedly one week. I recently realized that my life resembles an ideal version of an unsupervised summer camp. If my life were truely
a movie I would be instantly breaking out into a slow and monochromatic montage of all the things that have past during my years in Montreal.
So I shall attempt to enjoy that which will happen and that which is out of my control.
I want to leave by maximizing every advantage that arises. I had an amazing and borderline
divine brunch at chez moi the menu included; baguette with eggs onions, camenbert, pesto, djion accented by a spinach, mango, avocado salad with homemade dressing. Topped off with brut mimosas.
After taking a lazy stroll with Anna down St.laurent, stuffed from my previous meal and also
the infusing heat of the sun. I hit up the muesum of contemporary art with Shamso.
There were some pieces that were hit and miss but nonetheless I enjoyed them
I like this piece by Catherine Widgery with the contrast of the bathtubs often useful and cleanly function.I have begun to take the leisurely hobby of watching Jeopardy in the afternoon. Magnifying my aged interests. Perhaps I shall perouse my way over to the Bingo Hall after, to enjoy a stroll and see my B23 buddies Muriel,Edith and Gwenavier? Lest not forget my trusty lucky Bingo dabbers.
Jeopardy is an old school love, I remember the days when Alex Trebek sported a moustache to ignite a revolution and they also did not have this whack futuristic set.
On another note, i loathe commercials to the point that I am insulted by how trivial they believe our minds to be. I just wasted a few minutes of my sacred time to a commercial that was creating a connection between youth rebellion and get this miracle whip. To the young and angry, there is nothing like eating a good tuna sandwhich loaded with miracle whip before striking the streets with anarchy.
I recently finished reading Franny & Zooey, marking another work off my eternal ¨to read list.
It made me want to sit in a bathtub and take up the hobby of reading&writting letters. A lost artform due to the facilities of techonology. Snail mail does live on though, I must admit I have a few amigos who stay strong to the antiquity of licking stamps and putting in things in various postboxes.
Seriously though, I have always and can seem to predict that I will always be a fan of Mr. Jerome Davids writing style. It feeds my constant aged teen angst inspired criticism towards society. I recommend this to anyone who is into you know, reading, laughing and perhaps even expand the capacities of their mind. I also discovered a new thinker through this book whose philosophies are currently tickling my mind. He goes by the name of Epictetus, known by many on the mean streets of Ancient Greece. His discourse often make cameos in this book so I was naturally curious to see what he was all about.

Oh how sweet it is to take a break from all that surrounds you.Allowing the murmurs of saxphones and melodic voices to sweep in from the backallies, overwhelming all oratory senses.
The silence is sweet like a freshly baked treat coming out from your grandmothers oven.
Time leads you to recoil into the unkown hours just to make a dime.
Working within unnatural states to maintain the childish dream
with cartoon gods at your tactical disposal,
Creeping through empty buildings filled with peering eyes.
The end comes with a stroll home as everyone prepares to leave theirs.
Each step seeks the comforts in the sweet refuge of your reveries.
Sailing through the seven skies, in hopes of finding one that will be just right.
Your mind intterupts notifying you to do this now to appreciate
what will come your way after

On another note, I hate to sound like a hippie or anything but Nature truely mystifies my mind. My imagination is unable to fanthom the simplicity of its creations
Reminding me of the fine balance we intricatly play on a daily basis.
